Regulatory Bodies

BBFC (british board of film classification): BBFC tells you what contains in the film, like when you look on the back of a DVD case it will say at the bottom (Moderate violence) etc.

ASA (Advertising standards Authority): ASA stands for self-regulatory organization their job is acting on complaints and proactively checking the media to take action against misleading, harmful or offensive advertisements. 

PEGI (Pan European Game Information) every game has a rating which tells you what is the suitable age to play a game and what it contains e.g. Violence 
PPC (Press Complaints Commission) You write your complaints on their official website about magazines, Newspapers and films and they tell the company that you are complaining about
